Senior Business Analyst (Global IT solutions provider)

  • Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam
  • Full-Time
  • On-Site

Job Description:

The Role Mission

You are the bridge between complex manufacturing operations and high-performance digital solutions. As a Strategic BA, you don’t just map processes; you re-engineer them. Your goal is to translate high-level business challenges into scalable technical architectures, ensuring that every WMS and ERP integration delivers measurable ROI and operational agility.

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Process Re-Engineering & Value Mapping: Lead deep-dive discovery sessions to map AS-IS states. Don't just document current inefficiencies—architect TO-BE processes that leverage automation and lean logistics to improve throughput and accuracy.
  • WMS-ERP Synergy Design: Act as the primary architect for the data lifecycle. Design how the WMS interacts with the ERP/MES to ensure seamless data flow, minimizing latency and eliminating manual data silos.
  • Strategic Interface Planning: Define the functional and technical requirements for system interfaces. You will ensure that the "digital thread" remains unbroken from raw material inbound (MES/ERP) to final product outbound (WMS).
  • Stakeholder Influence & Advisory: Partner with plant managers and IT directors to align project goals with broader corporate strategy. You will manage expectations, influence decision-making, and act as a subject matter expert on logistics best practices.
  • High-Impact Project Orchestration: Lead the lifecycle from a strategic lens. Beyond "checking boxes" on a project plan, you will ensure the solution is stabilized, adopted by users, and delivering the intended business value post-go-live.
  • Data-Driven Decision Support: Design logistics KPIs (e.g., inventory accuracy, order cycle time) within the system to empower clients with real-time, actionable business intelligence.

Professional Requirements

  • Experience: 6+ years as a Business Analyst or Consultant with a heavy focus on WMS/Logistics within manufacturing or large-scale warehousing.
  • Technical Literacy: Strong understanding of how ERP (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, etc.) integrates with floor-level systems (WMS/MES). You should be able to speak "business" to the client and "technical" to the developers.
  • Analytical Rigor: Proven ability in complex business analysis, requirements elicitation, and producing high-quality documentation (BRDs, FSDs, and Flowcharts).
  • Implementation Pedigree: A track record of at least 2–3 full-cycle implementations—you know where the "traps" are during go-live and how to avoid them.
  • Vietnam Market Insight: Experience navigating the specific operational challenges of manufacturing and logistics in the Vietnam region or global contexts.

Core Strategic Competencies

  • Solution-First Thinking: Ability to see beyond a "system fix" to provide a "business solution."
  • Architecture Mindset: Understanding the ripple effects of data flow across an integrated software ecosystem.
  • Communication Excellence: Fluent in English or Vietnamese, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: The ability to pivot between high-level strategy and granular technical problem-solving during system stabilization.
